A safety technician goes through your workplaces, machinery, documentation and training and tells you what is in order, what is missing and what needs to be dealt with first. We carry out audits at the start of cooperation and also separately, for example before a Labour Inspectorate inspection, throughout Slovakia.

OSH requirements apply in offices too – just different ones from a construction site: safe walkways, electrical appliances, computer work, first aid and escape routes. The audit sets the requirements according to what your people actually do, not according to a template.

The law does not prescribe a mandatory audit as such, but it requires the employer to continuously check the state of OSH, including the safety of technical equipment and compliance with regulations (Section 9 of Act No. 124/2006 Coll.). An audit is the quickest way to find out where the company stands.

The Labour Inspectorate can fine an employer up to €100,000. If the breach resulted in a work accident with serious injury, the fine is at least €20,000, and for a fatal accident at least €33,000 (Section 19 of Act No. 125/2006 Coll.).
