OSH training

The training of the employee in the field of safety and health at work is connected in particular with the following cases:

– when the employee starts to work

– when introducing new technologies

– when transferred to another job

– when reassigned to another workplace

The employer is obliged to provide OSH training for all employees and is thus imposed on him by Act no. 124/2006 Coll. on safety and health at work and on the amendment of certain laws.

Failure to comply with this obligation often results in not the lowest fines imposed by the labor inspectorate. However, a much higher tax for non-compliance with health and safety regulations can also be an accident, permanent damage to health or, in the worst case, a fatal occupational injury of an employee.

Due to legislative changes, new regulations and procedures at work, the employer is obliged to provide periodic training for employees at least once every 24 months. We think of all these and many other obligations in the field of occupational safety and health on behalf of our contractual clients.

Content and goal of OSH training

1. Introduction to basic legal regulations – legislation

2. Familiarization with the internal regulations of the employer – work rules, procedures, operating regulations

3. Familiarization with safe behavior in the workplace – basic rules of health and safety

4. Familiarization with the dangers arising from work and the working environment – prevention of accidents, occupational diseases.

Parts of OSH employees training
1. General notification of the employee – performed by a professionally qualified person (safety technician, authorized safety technician)
 
2. Familiarization of the employee at the workplace – which is performed by the manager directly at the workplace
 
The conclusion of the training is the verification of the employee’s knowledge orally (questions) or in writing (test). The minimum success rate of an employee in verifying knowledge is 80%. In case of unsuccessful verification of knowledge, the verification of knowledge will be performed again after additional training and repetition of topics.
 
An important part of the training is their provability. This means that a record must be made of each training.
 
The record on notifying the employee contains the date, name and surname of the trainer, name and surname of the trained person, signature of the trainer and the trained person, scope and syllabus of the training

At the time of the corona crisis, but also outside it, a very effective tool for educating employees in the field of OSH is the so-called distance form of traininge-learning.

Employees thus know how to train individually while working from home, or simply remotely from the comfort of their office. All they need is their computer or mobile phone.

Our e-learning trainings are approved by the National Labor Inspectorate, so they fully replace the full-time form of training.

After receiving the login name and password, the employee simply logs into the system according to the instructions given in the introductory email. After selecting the required course, the education begins in the form of a presentation and ends with the verification of knowledge in the form of a test. If the verification of knowledge is successful, the employee can download a record of completion of OSH training (so-called certificate).
