Code of ethics

The fundamental aim of HASPO’s code of ethics is to raise the moral standard of conduct of all employees, agents and associates and to support the ethically sound development of the company. We observe the basic principles that form part of ethical rules, such as transparency, fairness and impartiality.

Relationship with customers and business partners

Our code of ethics represents the commitment and professionalism of all employees towards business partners and customers. We treat everyone equally, and their satisfaction is our priority. In our work we follow our main business principles and try to do more than others expect of us. We pay attention to meeting their own needs and interests, which are the prerequisite for a successful and lasting business relationship.

Relationship with employees

We create conditions for our employees, regardless of their position, age, religion, gender or skin colour, to be proud to work for us. We place special emphasis on personal and professional development and on developing employees’ knowledge and skills. Our employees are obliged to keep confidential information secret, not to disclose or discuss it outside the company, and not to use it for anything other than work purposes. They undertake to protect the company’s intellectual property and tangible assets. All employees are obliged to comply with the applicable laws of the Slovak Republic.

Relationship with competitors

The company’s competitive success is built on providing value and quality services. We respect all laws regulating competition. We treat competitors with respect, in accordance with fair competition and in the interest of the good name of the whole sector. We build business relationships that last and prosper. We respect the good name of our competitors and deal with all of them as equal partners.

Relationship with safety

The health and safety of employees at the workplace is our priority. Every employee is required to complete an OSH review under Act No. 124/2006 Coll. on occupational safety and health. Every employee must pay constant attention to their work, with an emphasis not only on their own safety but also on the safety of others.

Relationship with nature

A harmonious relationship with the environment is the responsibility of each of us. To achieve a high level of environmental protection and conserve natural resources, we carry out our activities in a way that rejects wasting resources and actively reduces the energy intensity of our activities.

Relationship with society

We care about the country we live in, and therefore we honour the legislative rules, standards and laws set by the state. We act responsibly towards state and government bodies, the region and society as a whole. We develop activities that support non-profit organisations (associations) and we believe that taking part in projects supporting them is our moral duty and an expression of responsible behaviour.
