The Main Mining Authority or a district Mining Authority. Professional competence is confirmed by a certificate of professional competence.

Does a quarry or gravel pit need a mining safety technician?

If the organisation carries out mining or activities carried out by mining methods, such as extraction in a quarry, gravel pit or sand pit, its OSH and operational safety duties are performed by a certified mining safety technician.

Who supervises safety in mines and quarries?

The state mining inspectorate, carried out by the Main Mining Authority and the district Mining Authorities.
