Powder fire extinguisher
The most versatile fire extinguisher. It puts out fires of solids, flammable liquids and gases and can also be used on live electrical equipment up to 1000 V from a distance of at least 1 m. We sell certified EN 3 extinguishers with a pressure gauge and a bracket.

Good to know: Powder contaminates the whole area and can damage sensitive electronics. For server rooms or expensive machinery a CO2 fire extinguisher is a better choice. Do not use a powder extinguisher on burning cooking oil (class F).
Where to use it
- 1 kg for cars, machines and small spaces.
- 2 kg for vans, garages and homes.
- 6 kg for offices, shops, warehouses, workshops and production. The most common choice for building approval and fire inspections.
Inspections and service
Under Decree No. 347/2022 Coll., a portable fire extinguisher must be inspected at least every 24 months, but most manufacturers require an inspection every 12 months and then their interval applies. Inspections may only be carried out by a person with a special authorisation. We carry out inspections and pressure tests and keep track of the dates for you.

What size do I need?
Cars typically use 1 to 2 kg extinguishers, business premises most often 6 kg. The exact number and rating follow from the building fire safety design and the STN 92 0202 standard. We are happy to advise.
